Consortium

Consortium: A Journal of Crossdisciplinary Inquiry is a scholarly journal printed by the Humanities Club and the Literaria Society at the University of Colorado at Boulder every spring. The journal consists of scholarly essays contributed by CU Boulder students, the Boulder community, and scholars across the world. Consortium is produced in partnership with the Consortium Conference, an annual event at CU Boulder in which contributors read and discuss their works. The conference and journal strive to bring together different areas of study and different levels of scholarship in order to make connections between traditionally disparate fields.

Consortium accepts papers in any field of study. Please indicate on the submission form whether you would like to be considered for the journal, the conference, or both. No special consideration will be given to essays based on this selection. Papers should be fewer than 20 pages and use MLA citations and a works cited. You can submit up to 5 essays per year, and former contributors are welcome to submit again. No special considerations will be given to former contributors.

The conference for 2013 will be at the end of April, and the journal will be released at the event.

Submissions are currently open until March 31st, 2013. Please create an account and submit today!

We are also currently accepting submissions for our creative journal, Palimpsest. You can find more information here.
